This past weekend we were working on a project at Table Rock Lake in Missouri. How can I describe the first part of our trip except I had to drive in 4 wheel drive for 100 miles. We started our trip up last Wednesday afternoon before the winter storm hit and we started about an hour late. A little over half way through our drive and about 100 miles from our reserved hotel stay in Conway, AR the snow and ice hit hard! Lucky for us Arkansas has a great website I Drive Arkansas which helped out a ton even though it said roads covered and didn’t advice us to drive on but we pushed forward. We made it to our destination in Conway, AR and then proceeded to Missouri the next morning. Roads were still icy Thursday morning but improved as we went north, plus Arkansas was prepared with Snow plows and a ton of salt.
We stayed at The Cliffs which is an extension of The Big Cedar Lodge and Bass Pro Shops. We were around the lake area for 2 full days enjoying the great sunny weather and the remanence of snow. It made for some great video footage and photos. I am sure our client will enjoy this wonderful project. Plus we also were able to visit the Branson Missouri area and view a couple shows including the famous Dixie Stampede. Looking forward to our next Aerial project and trip in Arkansas and Missouri area.
